Casualty freed by fire and rescue services
A road traffic collision in Jurby yesterday saw one person sent to hospital with injuries.
Emergency services were called out shortly before 10:30am to find the casualty trapped inside one of the two vehicles involved.
Fire and rescue crews stabilised the vehicles to allow first aid to take place on the scene, before the individual was freed using cutting equipment.
An awaiting ambulance took them to Noble's Hospital to be treated for their injuries.
