The are hopes the Isle of Man's newly restored air link with Scotland will bring additional visitors to Manx shores this summer season.
Direct flights to Glasgow and Edinburgh ended last June when BA franchise operator Loganair pulled out.
Chief Minister Allan Bell and Scottish First Minister Alex Salmond pledged to reinstate air routes between the two nations.
That goal has been reached with the start of Citywing's new service to Glasgow, host city for this summer's Commonwealth Games.
Managing director of Glasgow Airport Amanda McMillan says handling the influx of athletes and fans - including the Manx contingent -will be a logistical challenge.
