Treasury Minister says it's 'an exciting opportunity'
Tynwald has approved the creation of an arms-length governing body to operate Ronaldsway Airport.
It comes after a report from York Aviation consultants revealed that it is running at an annual loss of £3.7million.
The Treasury Minister Alfred Cannan put the motion to members in Tynwald this afternoon.
He says he hopes an operational change will save at least £1million a year:
Smile of Mann programme to start in primary schools next year
Loganair passengers yet to be reunited with bags left in Manchester on Sunday
Kirk Michael man taking on 31 marathons in 31 days in memory of friend
Government grant partially funded fishing vessel later used for smuggling
