One member votes against due to lack of speed limit and vehicle tests
The Isle of Man Government's Road Safety Strategy for the next ten years has been received and endorsed by Tynwald.
Home Affairs Minister Bill Malarkey said the document aims to reduce serious and fatal accidents by 40% by gathering statistics, enforcement of existing laws and by education.
The only member not to support the Strategy was Bill Shimmins.
Speaking during this afternoon's debate, the middle Middle member highlighted proposals in the UK calling for a 20 mile per hour limit to be mandatory in urban areas.
