Decision made to part with SPARK Impact
Changes to government's Enterprise Development Scheme are appropriate for the changing economic situation in the Isle of Man.
That's the view of Enterprise Minister Lawrence Skelly, who's been speaking after Tynwald unanimously approved the revamped scheme.
The decision to part company with Liverpool-based investment company SPARK Impact came after just £3m of the £50m fund was invested in the two-and-a-half years the firm had exclusive management of it.
Mr Skelly says that deal was entered into in good faith, at a time when it was felt such a scheme was necessary for the Island.
