Amendments expected to focus on carbon neutral deadline
A Climate and Environmental Emergency motion is currently being debated in Tynwald.
If passed, the Manx Parliament would follow in the steps of the UK and fellow crown dependency Jersey, in declaring an urgent response to the issue.
The mover, MHK for Garff Daphne Caine, has welcomed government's announcement aiming to bring in a Climate Change Bill later this year.
But Mrs Caine told the court 'significant action needs to be taken immediately' adding the public wants to see action.
