President of Tynwald Lawrence Skelly has granted the chief minister the opportunity to make an urgent statement in Tynwald.
This comes off the back of two sackings yesterday, which saw Dr Alex Allinson and Dr Michelle Haywood ousted from their ministerial positions.
Douglas Central MHK Chris Thomas replaces Dr Allinson as the new treasury minister, while Glenfaba and Peel MHK Tim Crookall steps back into the Department of Infrastructure - for the third time.
