Ineffective leadership highlighted in scrutiny report
The education department has received some criticism for its performance during the Covid-19 pandemic.
It comes in a report from the Public Accounts Committee.
Among the issues raised are a lack of communication, not being able to centralise or reconfigure services and ineffective leadership.
Education Minister Dr Alex Allinson says there is room for improvement but believes his department has coped during a very fast changing crisis:
