No fair, VIP guests or military guard of honour
This year's Tynwald Day celebrations will be cut back due to the coronavirus outbreak.
The President of Tynwald has announced the Tynwald Fair, the attendance of VIP guests and the military guard of honour have all been cancelled.
Some functions of the day have been deemed essential, so the promulgation of Acts, presentation of petitions and swearing in of coroners will all go ahead on Monday 6 July.
Plans on how these aspects of the day will be carried out are still being finalised by the Tynwald Ceremony Arrangements Committee.
