Clerk of Tynwald can advise those hoping to redress grievance
Those considering submitting a petition at the Tynwald Day ceremony are being urged to seek advice ahead of the day.
Any member of the public can ask for laws or policies to be introduced or changed by filing a petition for redress of grievance on 5 July.
Clerk of Tynwald Roger Phillips is keen to hear from prospective petitioners in advance to ensure their proposals meet the guidelines.
He says petitions are a great way to bring an issue to the public's attention:
