Mini-museum gets public debut
A new exhibition chronicling the history of Tynwald had its official opening this afternoon.
The permanent installation is housed in the Culture Vannin buildings, opposite the Hill on the main road in St John's.
Visitors can see pictures, videos and historical artifacts from across the centuries - as well as a scale model of Tynwald Hill made entirely of Lego.
It's open from 9.30 until 4.30pm daily.
One of the invited guests Emma Callin from the Isle of Man Arts Council praised the exhibit:

Consultation open on plans to formally recognise the heritage of Douglas Head
Fundraiser to keep St John Ambulance emergency fleet on the road
Ayre and Michael MHKs request meeting with commissioners over rates
Data breach impact rises sharply as cyber incidents affect thousands on Isle of Man
Reassurance for local telecare users and community support offer
