Tynwald members to discuss 'housing crisis' with other crown dependencies

Eight politicians making trip to Guernsey

Eight members of Tynwald are travelling to Guernsey today (Wednesday) to attend a two-day networking event.

Five MHKs and three MLCs will make the trip to meet with parliamentarians from Guernsey and Jersey:

• Douglas South MHK Claire Christian

• Paul Craine MLC

• Peter Greenhill MLC

• Rushen MHK Michelle Haywood

• Ayre and Michael MHK Tim Johnston

• Douglas South MHK Sarah Maltby

• Kerry Sharpe MLC

This year’s Crown Dependencies Parliamentary Network will include discussions on the ‘housing crisis’ and general elections in small jurisdictions.

All costs, related to the trip, will be published on the Tynwald website in due course.

The Tynwald Members will be accompanied by the Clerk of Tynwald Jonathan King.
