Concern over legal protections
A pair of campaigners are hoping to raise issue of grandparents' rights after handing over a petition on Tynwald Day.
Heather Miles and her husband Terry presented the document in St John's, during the open-air sitting of parliament today.
Nineteen petitions for redress of grievance were submitted, and will be assessed by the Standing Orders Committee of Tynwald.
Then, a member of the Manx parliament may adopt them and press for a committee to be established to investigate the grievance - this, however, is not guaranteed.
