Meaningful change unnecessarily delayed says MHK
An attempt to have Tynwald members approve the findings of the Lisvane report has failed.
Many of the British peer's eleven recommendations for parliamentary reform have been referred to a select committee for further consideration.
But a series of motions by Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper to have Tynwald formally accept three of them - concerning members' pay, the Lord Bishop and the Legislative Council - was brought to the court on Tuesday.
All three were unsuccessful.
Mr Hooper believes meaningful change is being unnecessarily delayed:
