A new era for the Manx government has been agreed.
The entire departmental structure is to be overhauled, with a revised version coming into effect from April 1.
There will still be nine departments, but seven will be in different forms, including the long awaited Department of Economic Development, and a Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture.
After a seven hour debate, which continued until after midnight, Tynwald backed Chief Minister Tony Brown's proposals 28-4.
There were many calls for such an important decision to be deferred so detailed costings could be provided, and MHKs were divided over whether a full consultation should be carried out.
However, those calls were described by Allan Bell as 'paralysis by analysis', and Mr Brown told Manx Radio it was now time to move forward:

Island's first rapid EV charger being installed
Mooir Vannin could be first of many
'Significant investment or redevelopment' needed at Ramsey District Cottage Hospital
Braddan Commissioners open expressions of interest for TT camping at Roundhouse
