Court pays respect to late Sir Nigel Cecil
Tynwald has paid formal tribute to a former Lieutenant Governor.
Members stood in silence this morning in memory of Sir Nigel Cecil, who held the post between 1980 and 1985.
President Steve Rodan described his tenure as spanning a period of 'great political and economic importance' for the Island.
Sir Nigel passed away earlier this month at the age of 91.
As the Court paid its repsects, Mr Rodan said he was a 'very distinguished man'.
