Work needed because 'previous platform no longer supported'
The redesign of the Tynwald website has so far cost almost £12,000.
A Freedom of Information request by Manx Radio has revealed the work, which includes upgrading audio streaming, site images and testing, cost £7,115, while work developing the Register of Business totalled £4,720.
Annual support costs for the website are estimated to be £2,500.
The Office of the Clerk of Tynwald says the redesign was required as the previous platform was no longer supported.
