Crew will be offered vaccine
Steam Packet crew will be offered Covid-19 vaccinations.
The Chief Minister confirmed the u-turn at the coronavirus media conference this evening.
Vaccinations will now be offered to staff working for the Steam Packet as well as Mezeron and Loganair and the air ambulance crew.
Howard Quayle says the Council of Ministers had considered an options paper on vaccinations for air and sea carriers this morning.
He said it was agreed that the measure was a ‘sensible and responsible’ move which will strengthen defences against the virus:
