Criticism of terms used in reform bill
Unborn babies don't have rights - the Abortion Bill defends the mother.
That message from the man behind it, Dr Alex Allinson MHK.
The public consultation is in full swing and has already attracted a number of responses from residents, local organisations and international bodies.
One is UK campaign group 'We're All Equal' which is calling on the Manx public to reject proposals,,introducing abortion 'right through to birth' for the severely disabled foetus.
It's also pitched in to the debate criticising the use of terms in Dr Allinson's bill to describe individuals with disabilities, such as 'handicap' and 'defect'.
Dr Allinson gave this apology:

Government proposing a five percent minimum wage rise
Tynwald: Chief minister delivers urgent statement
Former DOI minister informed via a 'two-minute whatsapp call'
MHK criticises language used by chief minister during reshuffle
Chief Minister: I hope that cabinet reshuffle can 'stop the fighting'
