A huge survey of the views of thousands of Manx government workers is an ambitious project - which needs input from off-Island research experts.
That view from director of the government's Transformation Programme Dan Davies.
He's been tasked with helping departments and their staff shed what the chief minister has called a 'silo' mentality and take a more joined-up approach to providing services across government.
The Have your Say survey aims to find out what 9,500 public service staff think about government as a whole, their conditions and the culture in which they work.
Essex-based market research firm ORC International has been employed to help carry out the survey
But Mr Davies denies suggestions the company is running the whole survey:
