A mirror created by Manx designer Archibald Knox has left its United Kingdom owner smiling after selling for £100,000.
The piece was sold at auction at Sotheby's in Paris, after the previous owner paid £6,500 for it on eBay last year.
The silver, enamel, lapis lazuli, chalcedony and mahogany item was designed by Knox in 1901 while he was living in Sulby.
