
Manx residents are likely to experience postal disruption as a result of United Kingdom strikes due to start this evening (Wed).
The industrial action in Royal Mail by the Communication Workers Union is set to last for two weeks and will affect various parts of its operations.
It's as a result of unsuccessful pay negotiation talks between the two.

Problems will be limited during the first few days, but guarantee for Special Delivery will be suspended today and on Friday, for Saturday delivery.
Customers with urgent items can use Parcelforce on these days.
Standard mail posted to the UK on Friday will be delivered FROM Monday, but mail posted on Friday to international destinations will be despatched as normal.

It will update customers regarding the expected disruption for next week on Friday.
