Warning from Ronaldsway
Ronaldsway Airport has issued a warning this morning that unattended cars left outside the terminal building are causing 'serious safety, security and operational issues'.
It's posted images online of heavy traffic in the pick-up and drop-off lane and taxi rank.
It's asking motorists to park in the main car park - just two minutes walk from the terminal - if their passenger isn't ready to collect.
Also, anyone greeting loved ones in the area is reminded to be vigilant of the passing cars and buses.
The notice warns; people leaving their vehicles unattended, even for a few minutes could find themselves in trouble if the airport security team need to respond.
It adds: 'If this keeps happening the airport team will also need to consider mitigation which will likely ruin drop off for everyone using it responsibly.'
