Job losses a possibility
The potential loss of a course and some jobs at University College Isle of Man has got a group of students, their parents, and staff worried.
It follows the transfer of UCM catering from the Department of Health and Social Care to the Department of Education, Sport and Culture.
As part of that move it was announced a review of how the college's catering outlets were operated would be undertaken.
It's thought the review could lead to significant restructuring, including the axing of several front-line jobs.
Matthew Hartley, a level-one student at UCM's Catering and Hospitality Course, has read Manx Radio the letter which students on the course have been sent:
