There’s some cheer from unemployment statistics revealed by the government this morning.
Just 768 people were out of work at the end of May, the Island’s lowest figure for the month for seven years.
It gives an unemployment rate of 1.7 per cent, down from 1.9 per cent in April.
Worst-hit continues to be the construction industry, where 114 people were chasing just 10 jobs at the end of last month.
