But overall rate down compared to same time last year
New figures show unemployment on the Isle of Man increased by 17 people from June to July this year.
Statistics Isle of Man estimates that 690 individuals were unemployed and looking for work in July 2023, compared with 673 in June 2023.
This amounts to an unemployment rate of 1.5%.
That total has decreased by 57 people compared with the same month last year.
The office has also revealed 815 job vacancies remained at the Job centre in July 2023, which is an increase of 27 vacancies compared to the previous month.
Of these, 56% (458) were full time positions and 44% (357) were part-time.
