Treasury minister makes announcement; labour market figures late
Unemployment levels on the Island have continued to fall for a fourth consecutive month.
Speaking at an event organised by the Isle of Man Business Network, Treasury Minister Alf Cannan said 945 people were currently without a job.
It's down on the 1,100 figure from July.
In April the Island suffered the highest level of unemployment seen in two decades, with more than 1,300 people without work.
Official labour market figures for August have yet to be released, though it's understood they will be next week.
