776 people now without job
Unemployment in the Island fell last month, to its lowest August level for five years.
The latest figures from the Cabinet Office show 776 people were without a job at the end of August, a net fall of 14 on the previous month.
More than twice as many men are out of work than women, while 20-24 year olds make up the largest unemployment age category.
After a steady fall throughout the year, the jobless total rose in July, with last month's decrease restoring the downward trend.
Compared to the same month in 2014, the August total fell by 128 people.
Currently unemployment in the Isle of Man stands at 1.7 per cent, a monthly decrease of 0.1 per cent.
