Coronavirus impact starting to really be felt
Unemployment is the highest it's been in the last 22 years at least.
There was a significant jump in the number of people registered as unemployed in the Isle of Man last month, as the impact of coronavirus on job losses really started to be felt.
The figure stood at 1,347, an increase of 497 compared to the previous month and is 1,033 more than April 2019.
Almost two-thirds of April's total were men.
Monthly totals released by government along with the figures stretch back to January 1998.
