
Unemployment rose on the Island last month, with another 53 people signing on.
At the end of November, the jobless total stood at 1,117, an unemployment rate of 2.5 per cent.
More than double the number of men than women are without a job.
There was a sharp rise in the number of people working in IT registering as unemployed last month.
Other sectors shedding jobs include insurance and banking, hotel, catering and bar work and painting and decorating trades.
