Chief Minister Tony Brown has backed the tough stance taken by Post Office management, as the threat of industrial action looms large.
Around 250 postal staff are being balloted by their union after they were told there would be no pay rise this year, in line with government policy.
In the House of Keys today (Tuesday), Mr Brown faced questions on the issue from Michael MHK David Cannan.
When asked if he had confidence in the Post Office's board, he was unequivocal:
Emergency services respond to incident at Douglas Port
Junction closed following collision between motorcyclist and car
1-2% of vehicles on Island's roads untaxed
