Scouts earn badge for environmental work
A new programme is encouraging Scouts to become more aware of the environment.
The UNESCO Biosphere badge was launched earlier this week, by the Scout Association of the Isle of Man.
It's the first one to be introduced in the British Isles, and includes a series of challenges relating to the UN's Sustainable Development Goals.
Scout Commissioner for the South of the Island Gil Costain-Salway says there are shared values:
Former creamery MD is new clerk at Port Erin Commissioners
Findlay Macleod will take over the position later this month
The Charity Club raising funds for Prevent Breast Cancer
13 dads are walking around the Island's coastline
Alteration plans submitted for Bay Queen
Proposal to split single commercial space into smaller units
"We need to get back to streamlined government", says Peter Shimmin
Former implementation officer elected in Douglas Central
