Claims situation exacerbated by mental health issues
More disputes and industrial action are likely, as people are put under more pressure to produce more in their jobs with less.
That's the warning from union official Mick Hewer, who is the negotiations officer for Prospect in the Isle of Man.
He appeared live on Manx Radio's Perspective programme on Sunday (1 Sep) alongside Unite's regional officer on the Island, Debbie Halsall.
Mr Hewer says sooner or later, people will have had enough, with the situation being exacerbated by more sickness and mental health issues:
