Union working to protect Packet staff

Anyone considering undercutting the Steam Packet in the future should think again, according to the national secretary of the Rail, Maritime and Transport Union (RMT).

Early next month (April) he will be one of the delegates at a public meeting about safeguarding jobs and employment standards at the company.

The public meeting is on Tuesday, April 5 at the Empress Hotel, starting at 7.30pm.
