Returning residents can pay for a test from tomorrow
Union bosses say the current border policy discriminates against workers who aren't able to take up to two weeks' holiday.
Government has announced an option for returnees to shorten their quarantine if they test negative for Covid-19 on the seventh day of self-isolation.
But if it's a positive result they must isolate for a further 14 days.

It's a view echoed by Prospect and Unite, which represent most of the government workforce.
