Controlled speed over mountain section possible
A special plan is in place to allow some TT practicing tonight (Wed) - even if the mountain section is affected by fog.
Poor weather thus far means just one practice session has been able to take place.
With forecasts suggesting mist and fog could be a problem again this evening and tomorrow evening's forecast no better, Clerk of the Course Gary Thompson has come up with a unique contingency scheme should it be needed.
Roads around the Mountain are due to close at six o’clock with the Mountain section from the Bungalow shut from five o’clock and Barrule Park in Ramsey at a quarter to five.
Gary Thompson says he's already considering the possibility of Sunday racing.
