The Ben-my-Chree is making an extra round trip between Douglas and Heysham this evening (Saturday).
A sailing for passengers and freight will leave the Island at 8pm, returning at 2.15am tomorrow.
It's to help clear the backlog of freight after services were cancelled earlier this week due to the stormy weather.
The backlog has been reduced in the last couple of days, but the Steam Packet says the sailing will go ahead to give extra cover, and passengers another travel option.
The Ben was due to go for general maintenance overnight tonight (Saturday) but that has now been rescheduled.
