Education Minister to be quizzed about upcoming walkouts
An MHK will ask about the impact upcoming teacher strikes will have in the Island's schools when the House of Keys sits next week.
Arbory, Castletown and Malew member Jason Moorhouse will ask an urgent question at the sitting after the NASUWT announced it will begin six days of walkouts later this month.
Mr Moorhouse, a former teacher and member of the NEU union, wants to know what action the Department of Education, Sport and Culture is planning to take, and what impact the strikes will have.
He'll also ask Minister Julie Edge when her department will meet all unions:
