Quine tables question after 'serious reservations'
Plans to fell 25 elm trees in St Marks will be discussed in the House of Keys next week.
South Douglas MHK Paul Quine has been given permission to ask an urgent question.
He says he has 'serious reservations' as to whether the decision is in compliance with the Town and Country Planning Act.
He also believes statements made regarding road safety need to be addressed and debated.
Mr Quine has declared his intention to stand for Douglas South in the General Election which takes place on 23 September.
His fellow sitting MHK Claire Christian and the Manx Labour Party’s Sarah Maltby will also contest the vote.
