
Education Minister Anne Craine says she hopes schools use their funding 'creatively'.
She was speaking after the Department of Education received a £4 million increase in this year's budget.
The Minister says some of that figure will be used up in student fee increases but it also means schemes such as a secondary behaviour support unit for key stage four can now be progressed.
However, Mrs Craine admitted the increased budget for the department doesn't mean every school around the Island will see an increase in their own budget - and indeed some may be cut (audio file attached):
