It's as the government last week published a document designed to improve understanding and awareness of public spaces, highlighting the different types as well as how to design, use and value the shared environments.
In Castletown, Tony Brown says the commissioners have been working well to ensure Market Square is always accessible for the public to use.
But he adds he'd like to see more investment towards the Islands heritage.
