Work permit exemptions discussed in House of Keys
There are more vacancies in the hospitality sector than people looking for work in the industry.
That's according to member of the Department for Enterprise Lawrie Hooper MHK.
A total of 179 work permit exemptions for temporary workers were applied for this year, but only 56 were taken up.
Mr Hooper doesn't believe the system is having an effect on unemployment within the sector:
