Illuminated bridge damaged
Vandalism has forced Douglas Council to restrict access to one of its most popular attractions.
A wooden bridge in Summerhill Glen has been damaged, rendering it unsafe - and the surrounding pathway closed for repairs.
Councillors say the closure does not restrict access to the rest of the Glen.
The illuminations there have been switched on for the summer season, and are visible nightly between 7.30 and 11.30pm.
