Snaefell, pubs and Villa Marina to host events
A commemoration on the summit of Snaefell, a toast in local pubs and an open air celebration at the Villa Marina are among the events being planned to mark VE Day on the Isle of Man.
Chief Minister Howard Quayle revealed a range of events similar to those being planned in the UK will take place on the Island in May.
The government is hoping to work with the scouts on a cry for peace, which is being carried out by town criers in the UK.
Mr Quayle hopes more events will be added around the Island:

'Essential' that school staff recognise the signs of an allergic reaction
'High' risk of wildfires over the next week
'Come From Away' to continue after cast member injured during rehearsal
'Parks in worse state then when I started' says Peel commissioner
