Motorists on the Isle of Man who've had their tyres damaged in Braddan say they'd like to see either the housing developer, Department of Infrastructure or Paul Carey & Sons take responsibility for damage to their vehicles.

Over the weekend, a number of cars hit the spot on Braddan Road near the hospital.

Recovery company, Manx Automobile Assistance says it was called out to assist eight motorists.

It's understood another company had 13 requests for assistance.

One resident, who asked to remain anonymous, says he had two punctures on the front and back tyres adding he'd have to fork out £700.

Another motorist, whose wife works at Noble's hospital, says it's come at an inconvenient time:

The DOI and Hartford Homes have been contacted for a comment. The contractor, Paul Carey and Sons has declined to comment.
