Edge wants to see cycling and motorsport share the space
An Onchan MHK is calling for a velodrome to be built on the site of the village stadium.
Julie Edge believes it could be the home of Manx cycling and also used as a multi-purpose sports facility.
Similar proposals in the past have failed to be approved.
The stadium is currently used by the local football club and Onchan Raceway which hosts stock cars for six months of the year.
Ms Edge says she hopes both cycling and motorsport could share the facility:
