You could call her a Manx-ter chef
A chef who has had a successful career on the Island is taking part in this year's Masterchef.
Fans of the show will have seen Pippa Lovell appearing on the BBC show this week.
Originally from Leicester and now living in Sheffield, Pippa spent most of her career developing and operating the restaurant Versa right here on the Isle of Man.
The restaurant's menu consisted of both locally sourced goods and ingredients taken from within walking distance of the venue.
The foraging nature of her culinary craft appeared in her dishes on the show, which included Manx ingredients.
She caught up with Christy ahead of her appearance last night (11 November) to talk TV and future plans:
