
Are some Island bikers and drivers putting other road users at risk for the sake of a few minutes of fame?
The Institute of Advanced Motorists says the problem of people driving dangerously and uploading videos to websites such as YouTube is a growing one.
Bikers have posted videos of themselves travelling at up to 170mph over the Mountain Road, while drivers have posted films of racing around Tesco’s car park in Douglas.
Inspector Derek Flint of the Roads Policing Unit says officers can and do track down those behind the videos:
