IoM Sport launches survey seeking views from community

Residents are being invited to give their thoughts on the sports offering available to people on the Isle of Man.

Isle of Man Sport has launched the 'Our Sporting Nation' survey, seeking the views of athletes, coaches, volunteers, parents, carers and more on a variety of topics across all disciplines.

The organisation wants to find out what people's experiences are in different roles across the community including what they think is good and what could be improved.

Isle of Man Sport's Sport's Liaison Officer, Louise Corkill explains why they think now is the right time to be getting feedback on the system:

Anyone wishing to take part has a choice of which survey they would like to complete.

There are three different surveys available - one for participants, one for parents and carers as well as another for coaches, officials and volunteers.

Isle of Man Sport says each of those should only take around ten minutes to fill out.

The deadline for taking part is Sunday, 30 November 2025 and where possible people are being encouraged to complete the survey online.

However, anyone wishing to complete a hard copy can request one for collection by emailing sportsliaison@gov.im or collect one from the reception at the National Sports Centre on Groves Road in Douglas.
