The finishing touches are being put to this summer's Viking Festival in Peel.
The popular event in a re-created village on the beach, has some additional attractions this year.
They include a stonemason who will create a new Manx Viking cross, a working bakery and a working forge giving demonstrations.
A team of Norwegians rowing all the way from Norway to the Island are due to arrive during the festival.
But more volunteers willing to play the part of Vikings are still needed.
